By using our website and/or booking AFTERMATH, either online, by email, or phone, you agree to the terms & conditions stated below, including our Privacy Policy.



1.1 - AFTERMATH holds the right to amend or vary the terms and conditions below including any of the contents of this website from time to time at its sole discretion without prior notice.

1.2 - The terms and conditions apply to the use of the website by any visitor and should be read carefully before use.

1.3 - AFTERMATH does its best to supply you with the most up to date and accurate information on the website.

1.4 - The website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website without the written consent of the AFTERMATH.

1.5 - You are not permitted to link to, or use all, or any part of the website for any purpose which is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.

1.6 - You accept that the Internet is not fully secure. AFTERMATH will take all appropriate steps to protect your information.

1.7 - AFTERMATH shall not be liable to any person for any direct or indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including (without limitation) lost profits or revenues, loss of opportunity, costs of replacement goods or services, loss or damage to data or business interruption, arising out of any use of the website.

1.8 - The website may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites. The operation of those websites is out of AFTERMATH’s control and you may use them at your own risk. AFTERMATH accepts no liability for any damage arising out of any use of those websites.



We want you to have a good time with us. As such, all Participants of AFTERMATH must agree to the following:

2.1 - It is the responsibility of the lead booker to ensure the terms and conditions are followed by all participants:

2.2 -That they are providing a suitable and safe environment for our Mission Master(s) and to run your Experience in.

2.3 – That they will not cause breakages or harm or do anything to place themselves or others in harm’

2.4– That they abide by the guidance and instructions given by our Mission Master(s).

2.5 – That they are not inebriated in any way which makes them a risk to themselves, others, their immediate environment or our Mission Master(s) and equipment.

2.6 – That they agree to the terms and conditions as stated on purchase.

2.7 – That they do not disclose, record or reveal the contents of AFTERMATH publicly, nor attempt to duplicate game elements and AFTERMATH IP elsewhere.

2.8 – That if any of these terms are breached, then the Mission Master(s) has the right to cancel the game at any time without refund.



3.1 - Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights.

3.2  -The game is designed for a team of 5-35 people per game. All players must comply with the following terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the person who books to ensure this happens.

3.3  -Our games will last for approximately 60/90/120 minutes. However, there will be a 10-15 minute ‘Briefing’ and ‘Debriefing’ periods before and after the game. Players should, therefore, be aware that games may finish up to 2 hours from the arrival time given to the team.

3.4 -The trademarks and logos displayed on the website, and printed material are the property of AFTERMATH. You are not permitted to use these without a written consent of the company and you accept that any such use may constitute an infringement of the relevant proprietor’s rights.

3.5 - These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

3.6- AFTERMATH collects and stores your personal details without disclosing it to any 3rd party and is dedicated to ensuring that the privacy of your personal information is protected in accordance with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 25 May 2018.

3.7 - Due to the nature of the game no photos or recordings can be taken during the mission. That includes (without limitation) the use of mobile phones, recording devices (video and/or audio) and cameras. The use of such a device is only permitted in game for game-directed purposes at any time.

3.8 - AFTERMATH expects visitors not to disclose any details of the game directly or indirectly to the public.

3.9 - AFTERMATH players that books with the intend of reviewing their experience in professional, semi-professional, or non-professional media. Must let AFTERMATH know prior to playing the game. And in doing so may not disclose any sensitive details of the experience. Any reviews of this nature must be agreed in advance with AFTERMATH prior to booking. Additional information might be requested from Aftermath to clarify review points.

3.10 - AFTERMATH is entitled to charge the guests for any damage which is intentional and/or caused by misuse of items.

3.11 - AFTERMATH doesn’t tolerate any kind of bullying or harassment towards its employees.

3.12  - Players accept all risks involved with the game. While precautions have been taken to provide a safe experience, the game can potentially take place in public spaces and it is therefore impossible to control all variables completely.

3.13 - All players must follow instructions from members of staff. All players  agree to our waiver as a condition for participating or have an adult sign one for them if they are under 18 (the minimum age being 10 years old). These waivers are a part of the terms and conditions, (see the top of the page) they are also available on the day. (See section 2)



4.1. - The only language available for the conclusion of a contract online is English.

4.2  - A booking is confirmed once payment has reached us.

4.3 - All prices are subject to change with our prior notice.

4. 4 - A binding contract between the purchaser and AFTERMATH comes into existence when a booking confirmation is dispatched to the Purchaser. This contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by English Law.

4.5 - Only person(s) who are at least 18 years of age are permitted to book.

4.6 - AFTERMATH is a live event, therefore once booked, all games are non-refundable or transferable under any circumstances, except at the discretion of the company. This includes problems arising from transport and weather. If there is a problem, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to make your experience as awesome as possible. Reschedule is possible within 14 working days, prior the booked time, at AFTERMATH’s discretion.

4.7 - In case fewer people attending the event that have been booked for, the price difference will not be refunded.

4.8 - Any purchase on the website is only valid when processed and received by AFTERMATH. You shall receive a confirmation once your booking is processed.

4.9 -  If you wish to transfer your booking(s) into someone else’s name, you must contact us either by email or telephone at least 14 working days prior to the start of your booking. Your request may not be honored and can be denied.

4.10 -  Bookings may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes or at a premium. If a booking is transferred or resold in breach of this condition, the bearer of the booking or the person claiming the right to attend the event will be refused admission.

4.11 -  You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the online booking form, by booking via email or via phone.

4.12 -  Your mission master(s) will arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking time. If our mission master is delayed by 10 or more minutes from the start time he/she will contact you on the phone number you provide upon booking.

4.13 - You are expected to begin your mission at the booked time. If you are unable to start your mission up to 20 minutes after your agreed time, our Mission Master reserves the right to adjust the length of your experience. Delays in excess of 20 minutes may result in postponement or cancellation, as the Mission Master may have additional booking(s) on the same date.

4.14 -  Customers are not allowed to bring people on their experience who fall outside of the restrictions within these terms and conditions (including but not limited to, players who are too young to take part), if they choose to do so then they accept all risks and responsibility for said persons.

4.15  - It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure a suitable venue or room is in place for the game to take place. This includes any insurance cover needed for the participants.

4.16 - Any additional participants after the booking is confirmed must be communicated to us a soon a possible, Any additional participants are subject to the quoted price per person.

4.17 -  There is no capacity to store player’s possessions while playing as part of the experience, so it is strongly recommended that unnecessary items are not brought to the game. If the group has any special requirements (for example, if there is a wheelchair user in the group), these requirements must be communicated to the company in good time for provisions to be made. We are keen to be as inclusive as possible and for this reason, it is recommended that these requirements are communicated prior to any bookings being made, if possible.

4.18 -  The price of a game is stated on the website under the booking section in British pound sterling and we can accept only that currency.

4.19 - The participant price is set according to the number of people within the same booking and to the timing of the week.

4.20 - The accepted payment methods are PayPal and Stripe. 

4.21 -  Full payment is required a minimum of 72 hours before the desired game start. Failure to pay will result in the cancellation of the event.

4.22 - Late Payment Credit Terms: Aftermath UK requires payment up-front. In the case that we grant you a credit period, our terms are as follows:

Payment is to be made within 7 days after the date your booking took place unless otherwise agreed in writing. After this period: Late payment interest will be charged at Bank of England base rate plus 8%. If debt recovery action is needed, any additional fees will be passed to the client.



5.1 - Each participant will be instructed before their game by the Mission Master(s). After learning the rules of the event, each participant will participate in the event at their own risk. The company is not liable for any (personal or equipment) damages caused by not following the rules described before the event, or general participation.

5.2 - Any room we bring the mission to must have Fire Exits signs are clearly marked.

5.3  - People under influence of alcohol or drugs might be turned away and their game stated as a no-show.

5.4 -  Food may not be consumed during the game.

5.5 - To be admitted you must confirm the full name of the booker and might be asked to confirm phone number and email address the booking confirmation was sent to.

5.6 - Children under the age of 18 have to be accompanied by at least 1 adult per event.



6.1 -  Photos of each team during and at the end of the game is optional by the teams.

6.2 - By opting in to photos: any photos taken may be uploaded/ used on social media sites, printed material, including any promotional material, without names.

6.3. To remove your photos from social media you have to notify us by sending us the URL to info (at) aftermaththegame.co.uk. If you wish to remove your photos from printed promotional material, please instruct us and your photos will not be used for future printing. Not under any circumstances will already printed promotional material be withdrawn from circulation, nor any compensation given.



7.1. Except where otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, the company regrets that it cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of its contractual obligations is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of "force majeure”.

7.2. In these conditions, "force majeure" means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, pandemics, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.



AFTERMATH, Herby “the company”

8.1  - The company promises to make sure that the arrangements it has agreed to make, perform or provide as applicable as part of its contract with you are made, performed or provided with reasonable skill and care. This means that, subject to these booking conditions, the company will accept responsibility if, for example, you are not provided as promised or prove deficient as a result of the failure of the company, its employees, agents or suppliers to use reasonable skill and care in making, performing or providing, as applicable, your contracted arrangements.

8.2 -  Please note it is your responsibility to show that reasonable skill and care has not been used if you wish to make a claim against the company. In addition, the company will only be responsible for what its employees, agents and suppliers do or do not do if they were at the time acting within the course of their employment (for employees) or carrying out work on behalf of the company.

8.3. The company will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss (for example loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description whatsoever which results from any of the following:

8.3.1 -  the act(s) and/or omission(s) of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party or

8.3.2 -  the act(s) and/or omission(s) of a third party and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable or

8.3.3 -  'force majeure' as defined in these terms and conditions.

8.4. Please note, the company cannot accept responsibility for any services which do not form part of our contract. This includes, for example, any additional services, venues or facilities which any supplier agrees to provide for you.

8.5. Please note, the company cannot accept any liability for any damage, loss, expense or other sum(s) of any description (1) which on the basis of the information given by you concerning your booking prior to ours accepting it, the company could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur if the company breached its contract with you or (2) which did not result from any breach of contract or other faults by the company or its employees or, where the company is responsible for them, its suppliers. Additionally, the company cannot accept liability for any business losses.


9. COVID-19.

9.1 - All bookings are subject to our current COVID-19 guidelines, please see this page (COVID Safety measures) for all current COVID-19 safety measures we have in place. Our safety measures will be updated regularly in-line with current UK Government guidelines.

9.2 - Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, or a temperature, however mild, must not be allowed to partake in the experience. If the Mission Master observes anyone with signs of illness, the client agrees that the Mission Master has right of refusal for that individual to take part and exclude them from the experience. The Mission Master will also be issued with a non-contact infrared thermometer, to scan every player’s temperature before the experience. Anyone with a temperature matching and exceeding (38.0°C / 102.2 °F) will immediately be barred from the experience.

9.3 - The Mission Master’s decisions on excluding any player under these guidelines are final and must be supported by the booking client. Any refusal to agree with the Mission Master’s decision, or any other serious breaches of our terms, may result in them halting the experience, and referring the matter immediately to the Booking Management to speak to the client. For the safety of your players and our Mission Master, this may result in the full cancellation of your experience if you are found breach of these policies.

9.4 - There must be adequate facilities provided for each player to dispose of their own PPE issued by us in a safe area inside the client’s chosen location. Any PPE issued by the Mission Master can not be returned to us, and must be disposed of by each individual player in the same way, safely. We also request that these same facilities are used by our Mission Master to dispose of their own PPE at the same time.

9.5 - If Social Distance guidance from the Government (national or local) increases distances to more than 1m, we will automatically postpone your experience to another date at the earliest convenience, until the 1m rule is re-established.

9.6 - If our Mission Master becomes ill with COVID-19 symptoms prior to your booking, or receives a Track and Trace alert and will be required to go in isolation, and a replacement Mission Master is not available, your booking can be rescheduled for free, or a full refund will be offered. 

9.7 - If your office, business or members of your party goes into any type of isolation, or we are facing a second lockdown in your region, if you have a booking with us, this can be placed on hold free of charge until you are ready to get your team back together.
